Have You Picked Your Dress

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies I am sure there is a thread here that is similar but didn't see one.. I was wondering if you have decided on a dress yet.. If so let me see it..

I am still up in the air as I have so much time to still pick a dress. Decemeber I am going to try some on and have been weighing my options.. Here are some examples of what I like.

Have been LOVING the backless...

The front I want something like a halter top as I have a small bust.

Tell me what you think?

There is defiantly a thread. It's in the dresses section. Pages and pages long :)

All your options are beautiful. I suggest getting in a store and trying things on. Things I was totally against (strapless) actually looked better on me.

Love the backless look! I couldn't pull it off but jealous of those who can :)

It's called 'show us your wedding dress'. Can't cut and paste on my phone but last post was Oct 7

I really love the first dress. Something about lacey and long is so perfect. :)  Yes, I got my dress in the beginning of the year. (Our original plan was to have a hometown wedding but we cancelled it and decided to a DW instead.) So I'm really happy with my dress. :) This is the back of my dress.

I would love to go backless. I love the style of the Galia Lahav dresses, but unless I lose  weight by June where I'm comfortable to see no back fat lol (when I plan on starting shopping for a reception dress and bridal party) I won't be. I am also large busted, DDD. So, not having a full bra makes me uncomfortable as well. I was thinking of having a dress made, with an illusion back

Sounds like you need to invest in these bad boys!! I have never had a problem as I am just a B cup but my girlfriend is a DDDDDDD (LOL ok maybe not that big but they"re Huge!!) anyways she loves these things. She says she can where anything with them. xx

I was thinking of posting on this topic - wedding is in June and I haven't gone dress shopping. Honestly, I thought it would be the thing I was MOST excited about but I'm just not. Part of it is all the dresses I can see myself in are upwards of $2,000 and I really want to keep it under $750. I feel like I should schedule an appointment when my stepmom is in town around Christmas to include her - but I dunno. -_-

I adore your backless options!

@ what kind of contraption is that???  LOL  I'm an DD ( E ) and I feel like I need a SECURE strapless to hold these bad boys in!

LOL Honestly wouldn't know how they work. However she said you can tighten them and it feels just as if you have a bra on.. She said she also has no problem with sagging.. When i saw her in it I couldn't help but laugh..

I bought my dress a few months ago. I actually did not take any pictures (my MOH has a few on her phone). & the dress is at my MOH's house. The only people who have seen the dress, and that I will let see the dress are my maid of honor & mother in law. Everyone else I want to be surprised…including the groom! :)

Here is the link to my dress though!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
