So I am determined to make my own hangers! I haven't assembled the wire as I'm still practicing - I'm using 14 gauge wire I bought from a hardware store. I've seen lots of ppl saying they use 12 gauge floral wire. Is there a huge difference? Where do you find the floral wire? I like the wire I'm using, but it's pretty hard to manipulate. I'm trying to make them "cleaner" - better spacing and straighter. Any tips?post-266402-141364711416_thumb.jpg

I'm sorry I dont have any tips - All I can say is if you wouldn't have said it was DIY - I would have FOR SURE thought you bought that!!!  :o  I am a perfectionist myself and can honestly say, it looks AMAZING!!!!!!! Stop being so hard on yourself Hun! Maybe take a break from it and look upon it with fresh eyes! I think you're done! Great work!!!!

That's an amazing first attempt!  I would suggest the 12 gauge.  If you are finding it hard to work with it would be a little easier with the 12.  jewellery wire would work too- michaels and use your 40% off coupon!  lol

Nice. If you don't want to , I bought my hangers from etsy for 4$ each, but shipping was expensive- I only bought 2 hangers and the total was 20$ (for shipping too) but that is still a good deal for me!

Just for the hanger or with the wire name? Mine on etsy was much more :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
