Oot Bags - Finally Finished Them! Pics Attached

Recommended Posts

@@JennyZ you're welcome! They are fun to make! My maid of honor and I both have 3 bags in addition to our personal suit case. I bought all 6 suitcases and I am leaving them all there. It's costing me a bloody fortune to get them all there. Oh well!

@ HAHAHA! OMG! 6?!?! Crazy girl! But such a good idea! I'll probably hit a thrift store and purchase a used suitcase to just leave there for the OOT bag stuff! My carry on is already going to be loaded with glass candle holders I'm bringing for the reception dinner, so I'm already expecting to be "fully loaded"! How many guests are you expecting, to have SIX extra suitcases of stuff?! (sorry if I missed this in any of your previous posts) I just hope I'm not underestimating myself!

Great ideas and inspiration! Thanks for sharing!!! :)

I hope I didn't miss this if you posted already... But where did you find the mini Advil/Tylenol?!!

From another Canadian, the ones on Amazon are usually only with shipping to USA :( I couldn't find much for us Canadians.  I ended up buying the little travel 10 packs from Dollarama for $2 each and found a lot at Walmart.

Unless you live close to the border and can ship to a point in the USA and go and pick it all up!

Canadian tire often has fantastic sales. We just got a 7 piece set for $84. Was 63% off. Our thrift store near me wanted $75 for a used one. Wth?!? We have 6-7 suitcases but since air Canada gave us first class 6 are included.

@@calgarybride2015 - Thanks for the info! That's totally what I was thinking and have no where close to the USA to ship to. I did see the little tubes at Dollarama and thought maybe they would be perfect, because if anyone parties like I do, they'll be needing more than 2 Tylenol's each!  I think that answers that!!! :D

@ - Oh my goodness girl! Congrats on the success on your wedding guests!!! I'll be lucky if I get 20-30 MAX! Some of mine are even wanting to book their own flights/resorts, even after I found the most AMAZING deals available! But that's a whole other forum post/rant..... grrr  lol! So with saying that! I'm sure 1 extra suitcase will do me just fine!!! (Especially if I dont have to do OOT bags for the @ssh%les who want to stress out my wedding plans! haha! :P )

Sounds like you have the most amazing event approaching! Wishing you all the best for your special day!!!

@@JennyZ I know! It's ridiculous!! We have 100 people coming so it's a lot. But it will be worth it!!

At one point we thought we'd be the only 2 there and we have atleast 43! Some are thinking of booking now that we are in the home stretch. 3 months today!

@@calgarybride2015 - WOOHOO! 3 months! Down to the crunch time girl!!!  :D  All of my guests need to put a $250 deposit down with our travel agency by December 2014 in order to get the early booking bonus we received, otherwise they'll be paying at least $200 per person more than the deal we have. A lot aren't really getting this and think they'll find better deals themselves.... I try to remind myself not to stress about not knowing who's coming (especially so far away from the wedding date) but how are you suppose to plan your budget/make all these bags/order supplies, when so many people wait last minute?! <_<

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
