2015-2016 Moon Palace Brides

Recommended Posts

With regards to the $800 fee - just keep in mind that although it sounds like a lot, it's not a bad idea to do some research before settling on the Moon Palace vendors. For example, their in house DJ (JSAV/PSAV) has received quite a few negative reviews on this website and it also super expensive. I'm getting our DJ (Disco Movil, who has stellar reviews on this website) for LESS than the Moon Palace DJ even once I add in the $800 fee...

@@colleentf09 My contract was 5 pages long and the part about the outside vendor fees was under the fifth section of the contract entitled, "Additional Costs". This is where costs for things like private receptions and cocktail hours are outlined. Do you have this info? I hope this helps

Thanks! I looked at my contact again and remembered seeing this.

Hi All

I am getting married at Moon Palace on the 21st May 2015, received all our paperwork to fill in last week from our off site wedding coordinator Valeria who is really quick answering any of my questions.  We was told 400usd for an outside photographer.  What colours are you all having as I still cannot decide. xx

Wow you are really organised, I was thinking coral but really like baby pink but not sure if it will look washed out when having pictures done on the beach.  have you choosen a photographer as yet?

My colors are navy and gold with pink. I originally wanted navy bridesmaid dresses but then I thought navy would be too harsh for beach pictures. So I'm going with ivory dresses, nude shoes, shades of pink flowers with a navy ribbon. I found gold earrings with a bkush and navy stone in hm. I'll be getting it for them

@@zoeherr thanks for the compliment :) I think I'm addicted to wedding planning, and I still have over a year to go lol. Baby pink will look beautiful! You can always compliment it with another color like gold, gray, silver, there's lots of options! And we have chosen and booked Samuel Luna. Check him out, his photos are fabulous and he's really great at getting back to me with any concerns or questions I have. Have you chosen your photographer?

Those colors sound really good. I considered navy with coral but my fiancé wanted gray. I figured I should give him his choice of color since I'm deciding on the rest of the decor lol

Ivory dresses with the earrings will look great!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
