Hi ladies,

 

I know alot of us have been utilizing the 2014 Moon Palace thread. However, I thought it would be useful for us to have a thread for our needs since things change throughout the years. Plus this would be easier to navigate than going through 90 pages of threads. Palace changes preferred vendors at anytime apparently and has recently changed the promo for weddings.

 

I am still trying to get the hang of the new promotion. I thought I understood it, then I was wrecking my brain last night trying to figure out what I needed to qualify for free nights. So stressful, I've been having nightmares and my wedding isn't until June 2016.

Which new promotion do they have? I'm a Canadian bride and I think our promos are different. I'm stressing out just getting the contract finalized! I've had to correct the contract three times now. At least our weddings are still in 2016

just curious as to how much your wedding coordinator said the outside vendor fee was. Mine said it was $800, just want to make sure we are all being told the same thing.TIA

My contract states $400 for outside photography and $800 for all other outside vendors

Mine only says 800 for outside vendors. I was just gonna get day passes for my photographer

I'm just starting my planning at moon palace for my wedding next October. I didn't see anything in my contract for our date/ time about an outside vendor fee, is this on another contract you got later? I'm still waiting to hear back from the wedding coordinator to start actually planning the details. I'm worried that everything is going to get more expensive than I originally planned!

@@colleentf09 My contract was 5 pages long and the part about the outside vendor fees was under the fifth section of the contract entitled, "Additional Costs". This is where costs for things like private receptions and cocktail hours are outlined. Do you have this info? I hope this helps
