@calgarybride2015 Thanks! Looks like I'm also using the same shell as you for my rings! Just looking back thru your pictures there now....I might have to steal a few more ideas! I forgot how many fantastic things you made! :) I started my planning thread today so I'm trying to gather where I got my ideas from to give credit for my next few up coming posts :)

I gots lots of ideas off here too :)
Awesome on the shell. It's nice cause the holes are there for the ribbon and you don't have to worry about the glue :)

Can't wait to see your thread.

Hey ladies,

here is my attempt at posting the wedding ceremony video our friend taped!

Far from professional, but perfect for us :)

as you will see -- isle runners are dangerous.

also seems blurry on full screen, watch it small :)

Everything you saw in that video was 10 mins 34 secs!

I think any destination wedding ceremony's last too long. Imagine we do all this planning for a 10 minute ceremony. Haha that's why I am hoping to have one hell of a reception...haha

I don't mind it was short and we had numerous people thank us for that!   I do wish i would have had to have said (phew!) more than 'I Do' but it was still beautiful. The words the minister spoke were great.

We did have one hell of a reception!!!!  And so will you :)

Yeah I like the shorter ceremony's when I attend weddings. Although I have never attended a destination wedding before.
Yea your ceremony was perfect my dear. I almost teared up watching your video but then again I always do. I have no idea how I am ever going to get through my own. From the time I wake up that monring actually. If anyone asks if I am nervous at all that monring I will probably break down.
I told my maid of honour that one of her jobs is to make sure I don't cry hahaha full time job ahead of her I'd say.

I was nervous as heck. I just started at Shawn because I didn't know what else to do.

I thanked my dad for not crying because if he had, or had I have seen the ones in the crowd who were crying I would have been done!

I was oddly relaxed all day for some reason!  i think being in a destination, like we are, really helps to settle some nerves.  I didn't really get nervous until I heard my music then I was freaking out.
