Hey! I was wondering if you put the OOT items right in your cups or if you had baggies that you put them in first? If so, where did you get the bags? Also, did you include anything for the kids in your bags? We have 8 kids attending and are not doing cups for the kids so I was trying to think what I could put in the bag for them. Thanks!!

Hey!!

I was going to just put the supplies right into the cups but at the last minute bought baggies from Dollarama. They were in the craft section. Just a little smaller than a sandwich bag!

I didn't do bags, sorry! I only had 3 kids but they got cups. It seemed easier for my kids to just have the resort cups so they didn't use ours. The other kid there broke his straw so his didn't get used either lol. I put candy in their cups though!!! Actually I had 2 teenagers that got the candy cups too :)

Ideas for their bags -- sand toys, beach balls, etc. To play with at the beach or pool. We got our kids snorkeling sets that were used every day almost all day but those are pricey to give as gifts but maybe even just goggles. Hope that helps :)

I had three kids as guest all under the age of 4. So for each one I had a beach bag, sippy cup, beach ball, coloring book and crayons, and sunglasses. The coloring book and crayons I figured would be nice to help the kids whined down at the end of the day before going to bed.

I was going to suggest the coloring books and crayons but I had them for my kids and that stuff never left their bags!! By the time bed came it was lights out. They were exhausted lol

We're putting a few items for the kids in the bags of couples that have kids. We bought some sand toys. Dollar Tree had some nice things, and then Superstore had some sand moulds that were 6 for $2. I also got them a beach ball each and a water gun :) (i might regret that later choice at some point haha)

I ended up getting a groupon from Photobook Canada to make our parents photobooks as a 'thank you' gift. I wasn't sure I'd have enough pics for the large ones so I did the fun 6x6 size which is softcover. I was so nervous it would distort the pics or whatever!!! I ordered just one first to make sure.

It came today and omg!!! The quality is awesome and the pictures look fantastic. I did a mix of engagement and wedding photos. I'll post some pics below. I didn't want to open the pages all the way because it's a gift but gives you an idea.

The groupon had the cost be $5.99 and $7.99 to ship so stellar price. And I ordered it on the weekend and was here in less than 5 business days!

Sorry my iphone pics do it no justice. The pics are clear and sharp.

It looks so beautiful. If it was my family giving me this I'd cry hahah. I think your families will love them :D

Thanks for the tip that they are good quality! I was thinking of doing the same for our parents so it's good to know.

Thanks!!

@@kcole123 it's way better quality than the one I got from Mexico lol. I now know why your in laws loved theirs.

@@TinkerSofi. Thanks! I hope they do -- we also made the first page with a personalized letter to them :) so I think they'll be a hit. They are super quality and I know Kristy used the larger books and they also loved them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
