Hey ladies,

here is my attempt at posting the wedding ceremony video our friend taped!

Far from professional, but perfect for us :)

as you will see -- isle runners are dangerous.

also seems blurry on full screen, watch it small :)

I think any destination wedding ceremony's last too long. Imagine we do all this planning for a 10 minute ceremony. Haha that's why I am hoping to have one hell of a reception...haha

I don't mind it was short and we had numerous people thank us for that!   I do wish i would have had to have said (phew!) more than 'I Do' but it was still beautiful. The words the minister spoke were great.

We did have one hell of a reception!!!!  And so will you :)

Yeah I like the shorter ceremony's when I attend weddings. Although I have never attended a destination wedding before.

Yea your ceremony was perfect my dear. I almost teared up watching your video but then again I always do. I have no idea how I am ever going to get through my own. From the time I wake up that monring actually. If anyone asks if I am nervous at all that monring I will probably break down.

I told my maid of honour that one of her jobs is to make sure I don't cry hahaha full time job ahead of her I'd say.

I was nervous as heck. I just started at Shawn because I didn't know what else to do.

I thanked my dad for not crying because if he had, or had I have seen the ones in the crowd who were crying I would have been done!

I was oddly relaxed all day for some reason!  i think being in a destination, like we are, really helps to settle some nerves.  I didn't really get nervous until I heard my music then I was freaking out.

Well Kim, I am hoping this goes for me too. I am hoping that the sand, sun, (and the little bit of champagne I have while getting ready) will relax me. I am a softie though. If someone says as much as congratulations I tear up. Really. I wish there was something I could take to make me tougher. Lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
