absolutely! I agree, did you pick them on the same day as your wedding? The first time you see them you're like "ohh, ahh" hahah and then you calm down and become more selective probably :P.

Let us know how the new one turns out. Where are you getting it done? [/quote

No two days later when I viewed my photos. Unfortunately we left the next day so no time to really process anything.

Unsure about the one my aunt got me - have to look again when I get home.

Our photo book that was included was also some what of a joke! We brought our own photographer down with us, who took some amazing shots, but we still had the resort photographer included so I asked that he take pictures of all the guests at the cocktail party. Well, some of the pics are so silly...and the most annoying part is that my two year old nephew and brother in law were off somewhere else to entertain him so we have no pics of either of them. It isn't noticeable to anyone else but I am a little disappointed! Oh well!

ChicagoFactory on Etsy!  They have a lot of different color options as well as sparkly or not :)

That sucks!  That is why I made that list for my MC to ensure we got pictures with everyone!    I don't fault my photographer as I love her pictures but no care was taken into making the book (ie - you seriously cut people out of the group photo - if it didn't fit in that spot, put it somewhere else!)

Thankfully photo books aren't that expensive to make - so if you wanted another one :)

So we are having our legal ceremony at home...do you have to wear something nice or doesn't it matter? No one is coming apart from the witnesses and to us it is just a legal formality...our real wedding will obviously be te one in Mexico...

I wore jeans and a nice top/cardigan. We went out for dinner after so didn't wanna be in lulus lol :)

Hey everyone,

Our thank you cards came today from Shutterfly! We also ordered extra photos to put inside the cards that are specific to each person :)

I'm happy with how they turned out just a little annoyed the front picture wraps onto the back side lol (1st world problems).

I guess this is it for our wedding obligations. Somewhat sad :(

Enjoy your weddings ladies!

I love the thank you cards Kim! Don't worry about the photo wrapping around the back, at least the pics are clear and are beautiful.

Well maybe you can start planning vow renewals already lol

hahah I should, because everyone wants to do this yearly!   I am planning a honeymoon - well kind of,just need to book it!  Also have been thinking about our 1st year Anniversary trip!  We have a difference of ideas right now :)

ps- the cards are much nicer than my iphone does justice :) I am sure the guests will love them!

And I should give credit to tygrlily, as I did make these based on hers :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
