Iberostar Cancun

Hey guys! We just booked our wedding at iberostar cancun in May 2016. We are expecting around 70 guests. I didn't get a chance to stay at the hotel or eat there, but the hotel was beautiful. The process has been very slow with getting a response from the wedding coordinators. I was hoping someone who has gotten married here could tell me how their experience was.

Also, I'm interested to hear about nightly entertainment. While my guests will create their own party, I want to make sure that if people don't want to sit at the bar all night they will still have something to do. I saw a prior comment saying there wasn't much in the way of nightly entertainment but it turned out she was talking about iberostar Punta Cana.

If anyone has any pictures they could share I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!!!

Hi! I'm still trying to choose a resort and someone told me about this one! Does anyone have pricing info sheets? I am expecting a large group - possibly 100. Thanks!

Danielle are you still looking for this info? If so I can send you what I have.

They have a new wedding coordinator which is why things are so slow.  Our wedding is in December of 2015.  If you need menus and pricing information I have all the latest information

Hi @Mahone21

My wedding is in April 2016 and we are still yet to get our pack from Iberostar. I was wondering whether you could email me with the information you have along with the contact details of the new coordinator (amy.jolly@hotmail.com).

Any help you can provide would be of great help!

@@CFlamingo - My FI and I stayed at the Iberostar Cancun in 2013 which is why we decided to get married there. The hotel is wonderful and the quality of food is fantastic.

With regards to Entertainment, there is a show on in the outdoor theatre every night which can be really good. If your guests are party animals, theres always the option to go into central Cancun. The reps of the hotel go to a different nightclub each night and arrange for entry for around $35-45 per person and this includes table service with all drinks included.

Who have you booked for photographer? Del Sol were quite expensive but provide a good look at the location here http://delsolphotography.com/tag/iberostar-cancun/

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
