I did the electrodash on Friday. It was fun but it was super cold! It was hard too as half of it was uphill with no breaks haha (at COP) but I enjoyed it :). What happened in Edmonton?

Oh man. The route they had took them through the river valley on steep hills next to a cliff, people had to go in single fashion and were bottlenecked. No medi's, barely any lighting. I had some friends who did it and it was a giant joke. So many people complaining on the facebook page, they are getting the news involved. I am all for charity runs as I have done quite a few but this one looks like it was terrible! And I guess they lied about it going to charity. I kind of want to drop out of the one on Saturday here in Calgary!

yeah. I don't think they're for charity, color me rad was if you wanted to. We also thought the light could have been better at electro dash. There were parts where the terrain wasn't completely level and without light it could be potentially dangerous, especially if running with kids. There were a few things that looked like speed bumps when going downhill, so my friend and I were running and all of a sudden you make one step and there's no ground where you thought there would be haha (it was too dark to see them). We were ok, but I don't know how I would have felt if I was one of the people running with a stroller. I know that the neon run is at canyon meadows, not COP, so it might be a bit different.

I did color me rad last year and THAT was fun. It was very well organized, during the day so no problems with lights and the terrain was challenging but doable for people of all ages/activity levels.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
