❤ Fusion Wedding At Moon Palace Resort In Cancun 07/17/15 ❤

Hi everyone! I'm a newbie planning our fusion Catholic/Hindu wedding at Moon Palace in Cancun in July 2015! My family is Mexican and my fiance's family are of Indian descent, so this will definitely be one big fat Mexican/Indian wedding celebration!  :D

After reading everyone's reviews here, we narrowed it down to Moon Palace because of all the great perks and pricing. I am a little concerned about the beach since I've seen a few posts where others have said their beach is not as pretty as the beach on the main strip. Most photos I've seen seem to show a lot of seaweed on the beach.

I'll be traveling there in a few weeks for my onsite inspection and to meet our wedding planner. Any suggestions about what I should really focus on and/or questions I should ask? I have a lot of questions already prepared that are specific to our ceremonies and decor, but I'd appreciate anything I may be forgetting  :)

Thanks!

this is super basic, but getting a really clear idea of what all is included in your package, cost for bringing in outside decorations  or professionals, and ways you can cut costs since you'll have a big guest list will be helpful. hope this helps

@@dimagama We're having two separate ceremonies at Moon Palace, a Christian ceremony in the chapel overlooking the sea and the Hindu ceremony on the beach during sunset It'll be a long day, but we really wanted to incorporate both of our cultures for our big day! (We'll have a long break in between the two ceremonies)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
