Hi,

 

I am looking to get married at the Riu Palace Mexico in October 2015, I am opting for the 'top package' which they call caprice.

 

I understand that with this you get a semi private a la carte dinner afterwards... What are the other reception options and most importantly how much do they cost? I dont to want to commit without having a full idea of our budget. But apparently you cannot speak to a wedding coordinator until 3 months before?

 

Ill be very grateful if any brides could help me be prepared for any 'hidden' extras

Susie Q - could you send the info you have to me as well?  One of the wedding coordinators sent me some stuff but want to make sure I don't miss anything (since they don't get in touch with you until 3 months before the wedding!)

I've been told that a private reception is $60 per person. I think we're going with this option, so we can just spend the whole night in one area (I've rented a DJ as well)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
