Decided On Centrepieces - How Did Yours Turn Out?

Recommended Posts

I have decided (finally!) what I would like for centerpieces. I'm sending the following images to our venue, with what I want. I know we don't have much control over what the end result is, but does anyone have any images of what they sent vs what you got?post-266402-141053654951_thumb.jpgpost-266402-141053656271_thumb.jpgpost-266402-1410536601_thumb.jpg

The first image is the design I want. Second images shows the amount of candles (I will have white tea lights and votives in glass holders) and the third image is the Colors I want. I am going to also say that I'm open to the flowers and don't mind something slightly tropical. Do you think that's too complicated?!

Good ideas. We get the ceremony flowers brought to the reception so I planned to have those on the cake table, head table, and guestbook table!!!

What are you doing for table numbers?

We are using blume boxes. I ordered Tiffany blue ones. Used gold glitter tape and our wedding logo stickers to decorate the boxes. They fold down for easy transportation.

We are going to put the bridesmaid bouquets in them. Then have glitter dipped candles around them.

Not sure why the pic posted sideways.

Ok don't laugh, so do you put a vase in them to hold the water?

It comes with a plastic bag that you fold inside the box. So if you have fresh flowers you can use water inside the bag

We are also using these metal seahorse I got at Michaels. They were white. I spray painted them in coral.

Then we made our #hashtag signs on vista print to put on each table as well.

OHHHH maybe I will look into getting 4 of them because I just assume my resort will offer me vases, but just in case!

Did you get them off a specific website? (I apologize if you listed somewhere you had)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
