Hi ladies!

 

I thought I would start a 2016 Majestic Elegance bride forum. I'm planning for my wedding to be on March 15th 2016. I'm hoping to have the ceremony on the beach in the gazebo. I would really like to have a private reception but I'm still looking into the costs associated. Does anyone have ideas about photographers? From what I've read, the on-site service is not reliable.

@@Sarah835 Congrats on your engagement and wedding:) I'm not a Majestic bride. However, look into HDC for your wedding photos. They have amazing reviews and the photos I've seen are beautiful. Happy planning my fellow 2016 bride!

Hi Ladies!

 

I am getting married at the Majestic Elegance on March 31st,2016. We looked into having a private reception, but it was too much money. We were thinking of having a semi-private dinner then a private party at one of the bars after. Is anyone else doing this? Thanks!

I'm getting married in May 2017. We are going with the resort photography and the company is really nice. Overall we are spending around $900USD.

 

We chose the beach ceremony, doing first dance there with cake cutting. Then moving onto a cocktail hour at a bar before dinner semi-private.

 

The total cost of what we want, plus our room for 10 days is about the cost of a 150 person catering bill in the states.

 

This made a destination wedding the easy choice for us. We are on a very tight budget, as our parents gave us a set amount they will spend. We told them to deduct the cost of their week package.

 

Can't wait until 2017!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
