Wedding Processional - What's Your Order?

Recommended Posts

@@Mrsktobe my grandma is our flower girl! We are going to an adults only resort, and my grandma mentioned once she had never been a flower girl so it works out perfectly. I helped her find a dress in my wedding colors and she is so excited - we are extremely close so I am so happy she is part of the wedding party

I will definitely share a picture. My FI's grandma cannot make it (she is much older than mine) so she is going to be an "honorary flower girl" and we will give her some dried flowers and her name in the program in a memory box

I'm going to have my fiancé and his parents walk down first, followed by his groomsmen, one by one I guess? Then I may have 2 of my bridesmaids walk alone, and the third walk down with my two kids (ring bearer and flower girl). They are young and there are a lot of stairs, so I still have to figure out if it will be one kid per bridesmaid and then when bridesmaid walks alone. I will have my dad and step dad walking me down the aisle. Maybe the ring bearer will go with the groomsmen? I guess I need to get on it!

I'm staggering, having groom walk him mom and my brother walk mine, then bm/gm/bm with flower girl/best man/moh with ring bearer. Reason is my kids are holding signs, flower girl "daddy wait till you see her" and ring bearer "daddy last chance to run" lol

Thanks for all the tips!

Here is what I am thinking now:

Fiance to walk down his Mom and Dad

My mom and step dad to follow (or should they go before fiance and his mom?)

Groomsmen

Best Man

Bridesmaids

Maid of Honor

Grandma AKA Flower Girl

Me and my dad

Our guys and girls walked down the aisle separately and once we were married they walked out of the wedding one guy to one girl. My husband walked with our minister (my uncle). My mom walked with her husband and I walked with my dad. My husbands parents have passed. My sister in law helped the flower girls down the aisle (both flower girls were under the age of 2 walking in sand).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
