How are you getting on with your wedding planning. I am getting married on the 11 May next year at the hard rock riviera maya aswel. We will probably be there at the same time! :-)

  Thats Great ! i was starting to think i was the only bride on here! Its going well just hard leaving everything up to emails. I started looking at some of the al a carte wedding items

Yeah I can't find many who have got married there.

What a la carte wedding items do you have to look at?x

I can figure out how to post the attachments. But instead of the Colin Cowie collections they have a company that you can customize anything you want. There are no a lot of photos but you can see some of the options

I haven't been told about that. I didn't want one of the Colin cowie collections so was just going to have the complimentary wedding with few extras. If you could get the attachment to work that be great. What's the company called?

 

Who is your on site wedding coordinator? Where abouts are you? In America or the uk?x

 I wasn't sold on the Colin Cowie Collection either. The company is Gamanteles. I have Janessa in Miami who has been helping me and she mentioned that closer to the wedding i will have a coordinator in Mexico.  I am in america in New York. Do you have some insight on how i can attach a link ?

I got it to work ! There is a bigger catalog that won't work it too large!

Thanks for attaching those. Are there prices anywhere?

I have been in contact with Ana in Mexico but that was only because I emailed and no one got back to me so virgin holidays who we are booked with chased it up.

 

Are you having a reception after the wedding? I wanted to have a dj but the hotel dj is very over priced compared to other quotes I have had from outside vendors but the hotel will charge $500 if we use one of those!x

No unfortunately I'm still waiting on quotes. I sent over pictures of what i wanted to see if it can be done.  I am booked through destination weddings.com everything has been smooth with them. Yes i am doing a cocktail and reception. Yeah they are pricey i went with the hotels dj because that was one of our main things we wanted.

Yeah I really want to have a dj aswel although my fiancée doesn't know if it is worth it. Have you chosen your location for wedding and reception? Have you been to the hotel before? My fiancée and I have been to riviera Maya before but a different hotel.
