Is Anyone Else Going Minimal On The Oot Bags?

Recommended Posts

Hangover relief is the one thing I am regretting not picking up but I had a great idea the other night when trying to fall asleep. As our venue is 30 minutes away from the resort and we have vans transporting guests to and from, I was debating picking up two flats of Gatorade at sams club and picking up some mini bags of chips to hand out at the end of the night. I think it would be hilarious - or do you think too tacky. keep in mind that it's a ukranian/newfie wedding, so most people WILL be drunk.

and of course I would "wedding" the Gatorade and chips and put it into a fancy bag with glitter or shit, not just have a flat of it. :)

Haha we aren't Newfie and we will all be drunk all week!! We are already starting a poll on how often we think 1 person will not make it back to his room lol.

I think that's awesome!! Honestly whenever I travel I always crave things from back home and/or goodies. I'd appreciate it. Unless they bring their own they won't have munchies. I love munchies.

Hahaha. Yeah we have bets on how much some of my relatives can drink in one sitting at an all inclusive, so it will be quite entertaining.

I'm the same, I crave chips and what not when I am drunk and will stock up on some from the store during the day so I am prepared when I get back to the hotel. I love the snack bar but sometimes all you need is bag of chips and a chocolate bar to make this girl happy. If they had 5 cent candies available, that would be golden :D

Nope! No one will think you are cheap whatsoever. They will shocked to have received anything like it IMO -- Honestly your guests will LOVE the bubba's!

I didn't do bags. I did tumblers and stuck inside Advil, emergen c, Pepto 2 pack, Tums, 2 bandaids, hand sani and mentos.

A full bag means nothing if it gets tossed and not used -- so tell yourself that. Focus on what should get used and you are golden. A bag and a bubba and munchies is awesome in itself.

I loved the cup idea. Fiancé loved the hangover kit so we did both and it's limited to what fits in the cup.

Bubba's weren't in my budget but had they have been that's all I would have done! Don't feel bad :)

This is a great idea, I honestly don't think anyone will use the bags in my group. I loved the cozis as well but I was talking everyone and they said they are cute but they wouldn't use them at then at the resort or at home probably so I feel like it would be a waste.  Where did you get your tumblers from?

We're doing the bag with welcome letter, map, and brochure of things to do/helpful info around the island. Maybe including a hangover kit but otherwise, I really don't think anyone is even expecting an OOT bag (unless they spend time lurking around this site lol). I figure they'll appreciate the snorkel sailboat tour more than anything thing with our monogram when they look back on the whole thing anyway.

Dollarama for $2 each. Saw them at dollar tree for $1.25 but only had colorful ones

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
