So I think all of my wedding prayers have been answered and definitely my type A compulsive planning personality has. Secrets resorts on their wedding page now has a live chat option to talk to a wedding specialist! Now I no longer have to wait a day or longer to hear back about my general wedding inquiries!

I've been fairly lucky that we are at 1-2 days, it was slower when there was a maternity leave change over... but some brides on here wait weeks and that's nuts! I can see maybe IF you haven't booked as they get SO many requests for info, but for the booked brides that's silly!

Yea I have heard some brides say that some WC are not helpful until 2 months prior to the wedding when the require you to make all your final decisions. I definitely would not want to wait that long to get information though. I want to be all done planning at that point.

I've had really good luck with Cecilia at Secrets Maroma Beach. She usually answers the next day! At the beginning it was only two or three. I'm so thankful I got lucky!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
