Nicki's Vistaprint Journey! Meet The Guests, Brochures, Luggage Tag

Recommended Posts

Hello All!!  I have seen MANY different ideas using Vistaprint.  I purchased my wedding totes on there (Team Bride and Team Groom).  I am now starting to make my Meet The Guests, Welcome Brochures, and Luggage Tags.  Just wanted to share some of the items I am doing.  And get a little help along the way.  Thank you :)

I am starting with my meet the guests document.  I am including a photo and description of how the guests are related or know the bride and groom.  On the back I have a list of whose rooming with who and a space so my guests can write in important information (room numbers and phone numbers).

Thank you @@kmk2016 I am not done yet.  Still waiting on some more photos so that I can fill the page.  I just loved the idea of people seeing each other and knowing they were there for the wedding too.  Make new friends :)  I am doing a lot with Vistaprint so I will be sharing along the way

Looks great! I'm going to try to do something similar, but haven't even started yet. Are you printing it as a brochure.

I plan on printing a bunch of my final things w/ Vistaprint as well, but the options throw me somewhat. I wish we could just upload, choose a size, choose a paper stock instead of choosing between "jumbo postcard" or "rack card"

Will look forward to the rest of this thread :)

@@tygrrlily  I am printing a welcome brochure with all information for guests and will be mailing that in advance with a luggage tag for them to use.  The Meet The Guests Page will be on a flyer style form and I will include with the welcome bags for our guests.  At least that is my plan for now.  80 Days until the wedding!!

I got a groupon for vistaprint...paid $27 for $70 gift certificate so I will be using them for all of my printwork

Done my rough draft of our  menus.  Let me know what you think.

Our colors are teal and purple and our theme is under the sea.  I love The Little Mermaid so that is where the vision all came from for our wedding

Great job!!!

I had planned to some how hand out a sheet where people would record room numbers etc but never thought to add pictures and the like - great idea!

I am also working on a pre travel brochure and luggage tags. May do the front of the luggage tags at home as I want variety but the 'name address number' one I will do on vistaprint.

Also my tags for my maracas and hangover kits I plan to make on business cards.

Question -- how do you change the background color? Is that a certain template or just an option in the tool bar?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
