Has Anyone Done Stadium Cups Instead Of Tumblers?

Recommended Posts

For us it totally is too!

Glad you like the idea!

Here is a little breakdown of what I think they will cost.

Cups $2 each

Hand Sanitizer $1 each

Pepto $8.50 for a 48 pack x 2

Tylenol $2 each

Emergen C $5 for a pack of 30 x2

Tums $2.14 for a pack of 3 x 14

Mentos $0.50

Bandaids $10 ish total

So making about 41 cups for adults is about $7.45 each.

I increased some of my numbers to account for the 4 people we have who are 'maybes'

For the kids cups I just plan to throw in cards or crayons/paper and some candy from the Dollarstore so maybe another $5-10.

Doing up the numbers above is just over $300 so my first count was off. I think that was before I added the Emergen C, but still not bad I don't think.  I have to buy extras of some things due to how their packaging works!

I could cut some of it out but I think it's a well rounded cup of items lol

That is not a bad price per person. The cost of the tumbler is about the same cost as a bag, but without the cost of shipping. I may end up pitching this idea to my FI. The more I think about it, the more I like it.

I didn't think mine would go for it, but loved the hangover kit idea... maybe cause we have a bunch a boozers coming. lol

I forgot the labels but I got 48 for $40 total (shipping included) so less than $1 each.

What I decided to do was buy some each week when we get paid so it doesn't feel like I have to add it to my budget. Is working well!

I'm doing the same, but wanted to add Benadryl, but can't find the sample packs. Has anyone found sample packs of Benadryl?

I haven't, sorry!

I will keep an eye out in my travels though and let you know.

I am planning to fill the kids cups with snacks, then thought maybe I could do playing cards but they won't fit. Now I am on a mission to find a travel sized deck!

The cards for the kids? Since it's Halloween time, I always see small kids decks of cards at target and Walmart that people give as Halloween treats. They often have cartoon characters on them from Disney but you can get a dozen for a couple bucks! They are nice and small and would fit perfect!

Awesome, thank you!

I also had planned to take advantage of the Halloween candy for snacks for the cups, etc.  My cups are basically at capacity now for the adults but 1-2 Halloween treats would squish right in! lol!

I had another idea for the ladies - a few bobby pins, safety pins and a very small nail file (saw a pack of 32 at Dollarama for $1 or something)

I didn't even consider the bobby pins and nail file, that is a really good idea!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
