What Flavor Is Your Cake?

Recommended Posts

We have 3 options. Vanilla, Chocolate or strawberry.

I would choose vanilla but fiancé want chocolate and I'm cool with it. I love cake, any cake so he can feel he got to choose one thing hehehhe

I am jealous of you ladies actually knowing about cake flavours! Our WC has barely answered my questions even confirming the times/locations :S

When we booked our wedding package with the deposit I got all the forms and spreadsheets full of pictures of flower, cakes, extras, etc.

I got brochures about "extras" we can upgrade to haha... just not a lot of the basic stuff :P

But back to cakes. I think we'll probably go with dulce de leche or chocolate :)

When do you have to hand all your paperwork in with all of your choices? whether it be dinner, cake, flowers, music, how you want your hair done, etc.? I have to have mine in my October (3 months prior).

I have no idea!! Palace is awful at communication I have to say - we haven't been told anything.  We have an off site coordinator now who is useless, but apparently we get switched to an on-site coordinator one month before, and they're the ones that really hammer out all the details with you.  So right now, I'm basically just biding my time trying to find out as much info as I can so I can do it all in the last month

We are doing three flavors... Drk chocolate, champagne and red velvet.

We had like 10 flavor choices which was overwhelming but after tasting them all at the site visit these were the favorites.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
