Moon Palace Site Visit From Playa Del Carmen

Recommended Posts

My fiance and I had our trip planned to Playa del Carmen prior to our engagement. We were originally planning to site visit Playacar Palace during our stay, but we recently changed our wedding location to Moon Palace. The resort actually scheduled our site visit at Moon Palace during the same time we were scheduled for at Playacar Palace. I really want to view the resort, but he of course, as a guy doesn't get it. And he doesn't want us to pay extra money to go to cancun to visit the resort. Does anyone have any ideas on how this can work? I know a cab is about $50 one way. I looked up renting a car for the day, which seems cheap until you start adding on the insurance.

He said, he feels the resort should provide our transportion, I think that is unlikely.

Can anyone help? Thoughts?

Thanks

I don't think the resort will provide transportation. Have you reached out to the resort to see if they provide that kind of service?

I heard the "luxury" buses (ADO) is pretty safe and comfy to travel around the area.

Hope this helps a bit

I've used the bus systems there (both local and long distance). They're cheap and not horrible. Maybe take a cab to a local bus station and then take the bus into Cancun? It would be cheaper that way. Someone at the resort should be able to direct you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
