Wedding Dresses Under $500?

Recommended Posts

I know that David's Bridal has a ton of them, not sure where else would have a good selection of dresses for under $500. If you have one, please post where you got it (and pics too if you don't mind!)

Have you looked at http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/

You can specifiy new dresses rather than used. A lot of bridal salons will sell their sample dresses, or brides that have bought a dress and changed their mind. You can get some fabulous pricing if you look. Then you could always go into a store, try a dress on and see how the fit is, and if you like it then buy it online from the site.

Good luck.

For any Toronto brides - there is boutique called The Brides' Project.  All funds from sales go towards cancer related charities.

Some of the dress are donated from stores and others from Brides.  It's a great way to support a good cause and find that special dress at a reduced price.

I posted a pic of mine under 'show me your dress'  second last page.

Mine was $500 then tax.

The beading on the middle part goes around the back and down the train.

The picture I have does it no justice and I hope the photographer can make it show it's true beauty!

@@travelgal78   the more I see your reception dress the more I kind of want to cut off my train. It seems it has a small one maybe?

My dress is by Sue Wong and I paid just over $200 and need NO alterations whatsoever. It was on sale on The Habit and I've seen her dresses also on sales through Ideel and Rue La La. They are BEAUTIFUl and the first one I ordered on a whim and it was the one!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
