I'm hoping I can get off meds before Oct because I have a limit of 2 drinks per day, and even that the doc isn't thrilled with.

And I agree with Kristy! Get home Kim and post pics!!! Can't wait to see them! lol

Here is our thank you card.  We went pretty simple:

I liked Shutterfly because they had nice big 5x7 cards and I wanted to write a nice message for each group that came to the wedding.  They also have the option of putting a picture in the inside and back which we did for both - thought it was nice to put a group pic in the inside.  Envelopes were nice quality as well.  Would recommend them.  We printed out pics of us + each group and I'm going to mail that as well

We finished all of our thank you cards yesterday so I just need to go to the post office and mail them out.  Then woohoo - all wedding related obligations are done :).

I am starting to think I should get on this.... before I forget.   I could probably just go to shutterfly and look, but were these cost effective?   I think it's fantastic you put the group photo on the card and I may do this as well, or have some printed like you did for the group shots!  It's a nice touch. Thanks

Edit: I went and looked - not bad :)

@@calgarybride2015 - Haha they weren't bad and there are always discount codes :).  There were cheaper places but we were only ordering 30 cards and these were the people that actually came to Mexico so we wanted to get something a bit nicer.  Also Shutterfly was one of the only sites that had 5x7 thank you cards - most are 3.5x5 which were a bit small b/c we wanted to write a nice message in each and include the 4x6 photos

Did you pay customs fees? Just on their site creating one and one of the reviews said at pick up she had a $27 charge over and above, eek!   I agree, I like the idea of the bigger card too. Just a little ticked I made it and right after my last picture uploaded it timed out and I have to start over :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
