Definitely keep us posted about how they turnout. I'm going to try the Revitalash that my stylist recommended. I guess not many people in my area offere the extenions and those who do aren't very good at it.

She says even at her sylist conventions in NY and ATL, they recommend the Revitalash ... so I'll get it over the holidays and keep you posted on the outcome!

Can someone at work take a pic for you, or do you have a camera phone? I really wished I had done before and after, that is the only reason I think you should do it. And, so we can all see :)

Ok, I am back from Body Klinics. I been dying to get on here and let you all know how it went, but I coudln't access the forum!

So they were $80, I am not sure if that was a discount or not, but that is what they charged me. Oh, and you can't tip on your card, you need cash. So I had to run to a MAC machine and go back. Kinda annoying, cuz I never carry cash, but whatev.

The guy who did them was really young and super nice, his name was Michael. He had me sit in his chair (he also does make-up), and just look down. It took him barely 15 minutes. They feel ok and they look ok. I mean, they look like fake eyelashes, but they look pretty good.

I was telling him about the forum and how Julie started it all and I was worried about the whole uncomfortable taping the eyelashes bit and he said they do do those kind of eyelashes there, but they are $300 (!!!). He said that type lasts about 3 months and takes 2-3 hours to put on. He told me the ones I got should last about a month. So we'll see how that goes. I know Julies didn't last 3 months, so I am not sure how these ones could if they are the same.

I will get my sis to take a pic of me tonight after work and post the "after". Once they start falling off (if I can withhold replacing them!), I can take the "before" since I forgot.

I meant to ask him lots of questions, but I have been sick and have no voice left. So I kept talking to a minimum. I will let you know in about a week, if I think they were worth it. they def look better then when I would apply fake ones myself. They are the individual bunches.

Carly, it sounds like they are kinda the same as what I got, but mine only were to last 4 to 6 weeks. They did last around 3 weeks with no mishaps, but because of the constant swimming, sunscreen and showering they did come off earlier then they were supposed to.

I reccomend getting them taken off when they first start to fall out if you do not want to keep them up. I say this because my sister was pulling at hers because they were bugging her and she pulled out a lot of eyelashes with them. So, do not be like my sister.

Honestly, if I like them, I might invest in them forever! I want to see how they look after a few days though and how they feel. I wear contacts, so alot of time, by the end of the day, my eyes bug me. So I will have to see how I can tolerate these, but I love eyelashes, so I might just keep getting refills. Or whatever you'd call it.

The first time you sleep and the first time you put on sunglasses is really weird, but you get used to that. Those were the only times I really noticed them or felt them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
