@pddcmc those look great!!!! I'm ordering the same fans and was just going to leave them plain but now you have me wanting to add some fancy like you is that just ribbon? and you used glue to keep it together?

@pddcmc I love those colors together and I think they look great like that, but if you don't want to spend all that time making all of them like this, how about just making a bow on them? Some of them could be coral and others turquoise. Although they might take just as long to make pretty bows haha.

Thanks, ladies! However, I may have to go back to the drawing board.. I only got 4 fans out of 9 ft of ribbon. I am going to go to the craft store to see if they have a better way of wrapping it (but, I don't think so - I've tried several different ways and the internet), or maybe try different ribbon? ($6.00/spool is a little much, to me)
Yes, I used hot glue to secure it... a challenge in itself!

That's so pretty!!!!! if I had more people I would do fans!!!
What about not wrapping the handle? just wrapping where you have the coral on this one, then tying it so you don't have to use glue? Sort of like when you wrap gifts? Would that work?

@acw271011, If only I were good at tying bows! lol
I was just thinking, if I had less guests I wouldn't mind doing the first style.

I found the same color ribbon at Hobby Lobby, but 7/8" width and 30 ft for $3.99 and I'll use the other ribbon (1.5" x 9 ft) I purchased for the accent color and some sparkle.
The narrower ribbon is easier to wrap and secure
