You give me my chuckle for the day! You will be more than an inspiration for any brides starting out on their planning journey! Your thread is wonderful to read! They say what goes around comes around so for what you've contributed to this site, there is no way you could receive anything but support and encouragement. It's exactly what you've passed along, so I think there are many brides to be here that would say thank you to you!

I have to say as far as nursing goes, with all of my time in the hospital, I've had some fabulous ones. Of course you do get the not so good ones, but I really don't know how they do it emotionally. I came too close for comfort - my husband had everyone visit just because things were so touch and go - but the nurses were great. I don't know how they walk away from that kind of thing every day and as you say, still keep their sanity!

Where on earth did you find those little first aid kits? Those are awesome and would work perfectly for what I'm thinking!

How is everything going for you? When is it you are leaving? You must be getting getting so excited now too. It's going to be nice to be able to look at two other brides pictures when I get back hehe

@@hellosassypants Same goes for you! When do you guys fly out? Your flight must be nice and short, coming from Texas! I have a long to do list today... but, it will get done. I just need to focus on one thing at a time. Do you have any last minute things to do?

@@kcole123 You are already on your way! I wish you an easy flight, a fantastic wedding week, and a beautiful wedding day! I am so excited for you and to hear and see everything when you return! Congrats & best wishes!!!

We leave this Wednesday. Everything is a bit chaotic right now but I think I can manage. I'm working half day today and tomorrow. I kind of wish I just took off tomorrow. Oh! I have already started packing but I am getting overwhelmed. I will start one task, leave that task and then start a completely whole new task. LOL. My (4 year old) daughter has been insistent on helping me with EVERYTHING and I am such a planner. Haha. I am looking forward to see everyone's photos!

I leave this Wednesday! Our flight is about 2 hours and 20 mins so it's not so bad. Although the forecast says it's going to be scattered thunderstorm when we leave from Houston. I hope it's not too bad. Today, we are also getting legally married today so it's feeling so real! :) I have soooo many last minute things to do but I am going to do my best to knock everything out today.

I hope you ladies take plenty of pictures and share them! I look forward to seeing them. I hope you gals are able to knock some last minute things off and will be able to relax before you leave.

@@pddcmc I love this!

Engagement ring

“The engagement ring is a symbol of promise and intention. Now, the intention is realized and the promise is fulfilled. Jake, please place the engagement ring on Tricia’s finger over her wedding band to symbolize that the love that brought you together will always protect and sustain your marriage.”

Love this part!!

...ha....ha...still, have yet to do that...@@TinkerSofi aw! I love your ideas and I'm sorry I didn't see them first! I just kept on keepin' on with my original tags because I figured the amount of time put in to them wouldn't be worth it - guests would look at them for 5 seconds and then toss them in the trash.

These look great! @@pddcmc

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
