I'm really excited about my "something blue!"

I purchased a custom blue dress label from etsy that I am having sewn in to it!  :)

This week:

-Get through my last three shifts of work - Friday

-Email our guests with "reminders," including restaurant attire - I have this written, I am just waiting to send it out on Saturday/Sunday that way people don't overlook it

-In said email, include rehearsal info for his mom, my mom, MOH, Best Man, and musician - see above

-Print table numbers & place cards - The WC and I keep going back and forth with idea. I am afraid of it possibly being too windy, so I think we are going to do pretty frames from a vendor for $5 a piece.

-Print Welcome Letter and put in cups - finished revising letter and take it to a print shop this weekend

-Take the dogs to the vet for their influenza vaccine (kennel cough shot) - Today. Poor fur babies don't know what's coming.

-Pick up my dress - TODAY!  :D

-Finish makin' it legal - TOMORROW!  :D

-Purchase extra suitcase for wedding day "stuff" and gifts for guests - This weekend

-Finalize playlist with FI - This weekend <_<

Next Week (Monday/Tuesday):

-Finish packing

-Stop mail

-Get a good night's rest

-Purchase random items (ie extra sunblock, super glue, Tide Stick, Febreze, etc)

-Notify our banks that we will be out of the country

-Make sure all receipts, wedding day confirmation letter, and flight info are filed together and easily accessible

-Have a list of items in each suit case (in my purse) in case something happens to our luggage

-Print a copy of our wedding ceremony script

-Mani/pedi

Wednesday:

-Wake up

-Shower & do hair/make-up

-Take dogs to their sitter

-Get on our flight with my FUTURE HUSBAND for OUR WEDDING   :D   B)

-Meet with WC to go over details

Thursday:
-Extra "bridal shower"
-Relax

Friday:
-THE DAY

@@smileitseb That is EXACTLY why I made the list - anytime I start feeling like there is too much to do, I look at the list and it puts it back into perspective. Plus, it's fun to cross things off! :)

Yes, I am super, super excited! I just can't even contain it!

I got back from the dog's vet appt about an hour ago... that was stressful haha

But, I'm happy it's over!

Time is getting short. Tomorrow I am

Cleaning the house and hopefully won't have to do much other than wash a dish and sweep floors. We have a dog sitter for our dog and she is coming to our house for a week so I want to make sure it's all spotless for her. I am so relieved about this because we don't know many here only a couple and not everyone is willing to come to your house and watch your dog. My dog jessie is 13 years old and I don't know how she would cope being in a kennel with other dogs for a week. She has never been in a dog kennel before and she already has anxieties.

I have no appointments booked tomorrow so after cleaning I am planning on starting to pack or at least organize how I am going to pack.

That's the other thing on my list - cleaning the house.

I took the dogs to the vet today for their shots.. they are not happy. We are boarding them for the first time, ever (they will be 11 in October). But, we have visited the facility and feel comfortable with the place and the staff...so we just need to trust that everything will be ok.

I have one appointment and we are going to the courthouse around lunch time... so, around those two things I need to go to Target and start picking things up, packing, cleaning, etc. (*ahhhh* so much to do! *breathe* *breathe* *Sip wine* *breathe* ....ok, that's better. LOL)

Oh, so my dress fitting/pick up... wow, that was stressful.. my gown was still too tight (I honestly don't think she fixed it from the last time)... I couldn't sit down and my boobs looked smashed. I was there for an hour and a half, but they fixed it and it is now perfect.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
