You are so on the ball. I wasn't even thinking about table numbers and stuff. I don't know if I want to mess with that now to be honest. I might just get people to sit wherever. I wouldn't even know how to organize the seating.  awwwwww what to do? Maybe I can do place cards and just organize the seating that way. This way people are fighting over seats on the boat. At least then it's all laid out for them. I won't do table numbers I can just put names on cards and put them on the tables. What can I use to hold the name cards though? Something cheap and that won't take up no room cause to be honest I don't know if I have much room left.

2 weeks today and we leave (leave April 13th) and I still feel like I have so much to do. When do you fly out? @@pddcmc.

My fear for you is on the boat placards would fly away or knock over. I wasn't on a boat and the wind knocked my frames over haha. It may be easier to do a seating chart but then if you don't do table numbers they wouldn't know which was which. Hmmmm let me think about it.

@kcole I have an idea for you just do tags and tie them to the forks or glass or something

You can just use ribbon or string or bakers twine... And the tag come in a bunch of Color I've seen them at Michael's... Or you can get plain white ones at staples

I think if you don't want to do table numbers you might have to let people seat wherever. I was just scared of people moving placings around, etc. I find there's always the odd person out at tables, sigh. I'm kind of type A that way haha.

Michael's has some already made table numbers. Also, if you have a bottle of wine in each table you could print a label and put it on each bottle, that will for sure not be knocked down.

Edit: I just saw the tags idea and that's really cute and easy!

I sat both families together and family friends because they're the only people around the same age and then I tried to seat people who belong to the same group of friends together or at least in adjacent tables if there were too many to fit in one table.

@@kcole123 I've seen tags in the crafty section of the dollar store here....I would sit them according who would get along together... For me my tables will be a bit mixed up...my FI only has 4 family members going and I have 12...so I'm just going to seat them kinda by who I think everyone would enjoy sitting with... We will see how that goes.... I do suggest telling them where to sit tho because I went to a wedding in Jamaica where they didn't and 1 guy was left without a seat! .... Resorts fault... But harder for them to screw up if they have name cards/ tags they have to put down

Yeah the more I think about it, the more I should have seating arrangements for guests.

I am here at work now and just finished organizing the seating hahaha in two minutes. It seems to be ok and that people will be happy with where they are sitting. It's only for a meal anyway.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
