Need Favors Ideas, Welcome Bags And What Is Oot Bag? Please

Recommended Posts

It's very true and all my BM said they are cute and don't care. But I worry cause the dresses cost a lot and don't want to down play them. Can't find anything I like!!! I'm keeping an eye out though.

Thanks :)

Maybe it's just me but shoes are one of the first things I notice. I'm a shoe person :)  Unfortunately I can't see your flip flops @@calgarybride2015 because I don't have enough posts. But if you keep doubting it might be for a reason... sometimes you can find fancy looking flip flops at a reasonable price. I just think if you keep doubting something it might be something you look at in your pictures and regret.

Just something to think about! Good luck

@@calgarybride2015 I would suggets that if you are second guessing try to get another cute pair and because it is only for a few people (only your bridesmaids) it wont be that crazy expensive if you stick to your budget, at this moment you might find great deals because the summer will end soon. The feeling you would like to avoid is to feel bad/cheap when you are giving them the flip flops or gifts, on the other hand I honestly dont think there is a big deal with flip flops since they are very laid back and you are going to have them for the beach, would you please send me the pic at linicontri@yahoo.com (working hard to get my 150 lol)

I love the idea of the OOT bags with all the goodies inside, I am very worried because I will end up with a container in Mexico full of stuff, the more I think about all I will be bringing the more I convience myself that I will end up doing a one single welcome item. I also want to bring a frame for our guest book and a whole bunch of ideas in my mind (I have not purchased  one item yet)

Here I am brain storming with ideas for favors, OOT bags, bridesmaids gifts also items I will be bringing with me (then my head starts spinning with centerpieces, light bulbs, cake topper, sand kit lol )

@@linaco80 You and me both... I'm trying to post as much as I can. So many things I want to see lol.

I get that way too it's like there`s so many ideas in my head but everything is a mess of ideas. I really need to sit down and make lists. Lists are usually my savior. Well that and wine!

A lot of my ideas were based on what would be easy to bring and also my budget. My maracas were my big thing and will take the most room! I don't want to hail a lot there and have the chance of damage or them being lost (yes I worry about this stuff) so whatever doesn't need to go, isn't!!   I was going to use luggage tags as escort cards, then decided to mail them out first -- which in the end I like better anyways.  that's the beauty of time, you can change your mind 100 times until you are perfectly happy!

Thanks for your opinions. I'm not worried about the flip flops being cheap as in cost. I'm worried they may not suit the dress. I think I'm worried because I can't put the two together and visualize it. I'm very visual, very!!! Even wedding dresses-if it didn't fit me in the store I didn't consider it lol. My dresses won't be in until November. I could bring them to the dress store and compare with their stock dress or I could stop panicking lol. I think it's just the fact they are stark white  :)

@@ng2015 like a package within the larger bulk boxes.  So the boxes of pepto we bought have 48 pills in them. There are 8 individual sleeves in the package, and 6 pills in a sleeve. So each of our quests will receive 6 pills.

I guess you could say our OOT bags have a 'sample' feel to them as opposed to a travel vibe to them when it comes to the few medications/aides that we are including.

Thanks everyone for your support. Feel better :) hehe flip flops stress me out I guess it could be worse

The sample pack items I think are a perfect way to give a fair amount but not break the bank or your luggage weight lol. I'd totally so that if I was doing OOT bags

@@MissJen3 I understand now...gotcha. I was thinking the same thing although my fiance doesn't want to give sample sized sunblock and such but if we don't we'll go broke just on the OOT bag contents lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
