Besides Bouquet And Boutonniere, What Other Flowers You Getting?

Recommended Posts

HI Girls,

So wondering if everyone can post pics of their bouquets, boutonniere, and all other flowers you are including for the bridal party/parents?

Thanks,

This is the other way I've decided to try to trim costs.. our wedding package includes my bouquet, 2 bouquets for bridesmaids, FI's boutonniere, 2 groomsmen's boutonnieres, and an arrangement for the altar that I'm going to reuse at our sweetheart table. I figure since we can't take flowers home, why not spend money else where. I'm going to decorate with some other centerpiece (haven't figured out yet) and do something special for the moms... I've found things on etsy such as necklaces or a seashell wrist corsage.

What kind of flowers are you thinking about having?

Wow you have a lot included with your wedding package.

Actually I get a bouquet and a boutonniere that comes with the package with the resort. I will use these and maybe I will just have the bridesmaids flowers ordered from them too and the groomsmen boutonniere's. At least it cuts down on packaging this stuff up to bring down and also less hassle for me to make them. I will end up returning the flowers I bought at Michael's last week. At least get my money back. I forgot about the bridal bouquet included with the package so I am going to lose out on the money I paid for flowers for that because I bought them a couple of months ago and don't even have the receipt for that. Kills me knowing I wasted that money but I can't find nice coral flowers anyway and the ones I have don't really go good.

Lucky gals. I have to pay for my bouquet and the boutonnières. Those are the only things were buying real flowers for as well as two crowns for the gazebo. Everything else is using fake flowers but I'm really trying to keep all decorations with a minimum amount of flowers really.

We are actually using clutches instead of flowers for my girls.... I'm getting them made on etsy and they will look something like this, they will double as part of the BM gift and are really pretty I think! I'm not sure if I will bother with a bouquet for myself either, since I will be holding my sons hands down the aisle (they will be 9), so no hand to hold flowers and it would be a good place to save money if I don't even have a use for them!

Here is an example of the clutches ImageUploadedByTapatalk1405645031.397860.jpg

I'd love to see some coral flower options, as well.... I love flowers, but have no idea what I'd like to have...

Before deciding against a bouquet these were two that I liked... That fall in the "coral theme"...

I'm actually considering this for me... Or my flowergirl...

I think it's modern and fun! Not typical but pretty!

@@kmk2016 - I love the one on the right! It looks like it has roses, poppies, and gerbera daisies? I don't know my flowers....

I think there are some orchids in there too- some of those are likely pricy depending on season- but I'm sure you could get quotes using it as an inspiration! Pinterest has a ton of beautiful inspiration in different color pallets!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
