Help Please! Azul Beach, Sensatori Or Dreams Riviera

Recommended Posts

I love all three of these resorts for a wedding...Sensatori is a little more budget friends as we are going to use the Sooon reservation (if we reserve) for the reception. BUT, I just can't pull the trigger on this and keep going back and forth on all three of these amazing places. Tell me about the beaches at these resorts. Tell me why I shld chose one over the other. Help!! TIA!!

All have different selling features for sure. We chose Sensatori and did a visit last month just to make sure it was what we wanted... And it was perfect! Our priority was excellent food and service as well as being family friendly. It's big enough where people aren't tripping over one another, but not a mega-complex where we would lose one another over the week. It was a winner by a long shot!

Those things are also really important to us.  This really prods me more towards my initial choice of Sensatori.  Thank you so much!!

@@MandM2014...I wish I had the time to go visit as well.  Way too much travel this year - time and money doesn't allow for it.  I think I'm going to sleep on it and go with my gut feeling in the am.  Dates are already filling up SO fast for next June!

@IvanLuckiePhotography  Definitely something to think about! Outside vendor fees can definitely add up!

My travel agent suggested Azul Sensatori for us. A top priority is the beach and the color of the ocean since it makes for gorgeous pictures. She sent me a ton of info, pictures and video of the resort I can forward you if you'd like. It was ruled out for us because it was not 100% handicap friendly and my fiances twin is in a wheelchair. I was also told to stay away for Dreams for weddings so didn't look into them. Good luck it's tough decision for sure!

If beach and ocean color are your top priority I'm not sure why your TA would recommend sensatori since these are the only 2 things that are considered downsides to this fabulous resort! It was however wheelchair friendly aside 1 half flight of stairs up to the sky deck... We saw many people enjoying the resort when there, who were wheelchair bound.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
