Need Help Choosing Cabo Resort For 2015 Wedding

HELP!

We'd like to get married July 2015 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We have narrowed the resorts down to Fiesta Americana and Pueblo Bonito Sunset. Initially we thought Dreams Los cabos was our place, but I do not like the gazebo for the ceremony site. The reviews on both hotels are very confusing and making it too hard to choose.

We want a place with:

-great management/wedding coordinator that we can rely on

-yummy food for our guests to enjoy (all-inclusive for no worries)

-beautiful backdrops for our pictures

We signed up with destinationweddings.com, but patience is not my strong point and I am getting anxious to send out our save the dates.

Any input/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance =)

Congrats and welcome to the site! I would definitely recommend that if you don't already have a travel agent, that you get one and talk to them. They generally have visited properties and can advise what their impressions are, as well as feedback from brides that they've dealt with in the past.

I don't know if you're in the US or Canada, but the owners of this site - Wright Travel are destination wedding specialists, and the administrator of this site Tammy is a Cabo bride. I'm sure you could get some insight from them as to which resort would best serve your needs.

The other thing you could do is check out the resort reviews here and see what past brides have said about their experience at each resort, both good and bad. Plus there are also the individual forums for each resort that I'm sure you could get feedback with questions that will help you make a decision.

Good luck and happy planning!!

I am planning on getting married in Cabo in June-July of 2015 as well. We go down there once or twice a year and my only recommendation is that you consider a resort that is on a private beach such as the Playa Grande, Finisterra, Solmar or Grand Solmar. I believe the Pueblo Bonito Sunset is private as well. The resorts on the main beach are beautiful but I would hate to be having my ceremony with everyone on the public beach walking over to watch! Good luck planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
