Live Entertainment Hiring Question

Hi, I'm basically from Toronto, Ontario and I'm here to inquire about hiring live entertainment for wedding parties. Me, along with my brother are planning our sister's marriage at our grand's place in La Baie, Quebec. It's a beautiful place and we loved to go there during our childhood and have got really great memories of that place. We made our plans of the wedding and the crazy thing we are trying out is that we love a band at our place and we thought of taking them as live performance for the wedding party, but now we have to take care of their travel too. We've contacted them through a event management group but didn't mention the wedding place, we just quickly went through their main performance list and our demands were placed. Now we are thinking of mentioning the place and all, but also have in mind whether the rates will be too high and it's better to drop the idea. Very badly need advice on this. Have anyone hired a live performance and had to travel them to whole new place for the party?? If so, how much did it cost you extra?

@@LindaWayne - I haven't done this, but I would expect to have to pay travel costs if you were hiring live entertainment to bring to another city. I would assume it'd be at least one night of accommodation and any transport costs, including the actual entertainment fee. If you don't want to pay those costs, maybe look into seeing if there is any local entertainment you can hire instead?
