Hello,

in October is low season, so you will be able of getting better deals.

you may have some chances of rainning. But the place is much more comfortable without so many tourist around.

if Cancun is not an option, you may go to Playa del Carmen, or Tulum. the last one is so peaceful.

many of my trash the dress are done at Tulum:

check the beauty of the place.

good luck!

I think the best place to start is with a place (or top 3 places as back up)... where do u guys want to go. Check out the venues. ..see of the price is right. If not, check other places and process out. Once u have a destination place, a budget and a venue...everything else sorts of falls into place. I was confused for a while then I decided I wanted to do a cruise, well, that narrowed down the destination places for me. Google and BDW will be your best friend. Happy Planning!

I have no idea where to start. I know I want a destination wedding but no idea where to start. Do I start with the location, date - is October a really bad time for a destination wedding? Should I set a date or base it on availability. What are my first steps. I'm open to almost any location with the exception of Cancun. I can't even narrow that down. Help, I have no idea where to start

I'm getting married October 2015 as well. Have you made any progress?

@@TeamBF Hope progress has been made! For me choosing a time was simple since I was planning based on a school schedule. Choosing a resort is tough though! Getting quotes and checking reviews is super helpful. Hope planning is going well!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
