Thanks. It's just the practice one because I am trying to figure out how to stop the ends of the bigger flower from fraying. I have tried fabric glue which stains it, I have tried clear nail polish which also stains it, I have tried hairspray too which so far seems to be working. I have that flower just sitting at home to see if it will stain. I am hoping it doesn't because I am running out of options. I want to make a few more practice flowers with some crappy material before I do my last flower with that silk material.

Well girls. This is the first part of the sash made by moi. This was just a practice one as the smaller flowers will color match the big flower once I get the material or I may use the same material as the bigger flower.

 

What do you think so far with my first attempt?

 

Very pretty! Is this what you want to attach to a sash, or are you trying to make the belt/sash too? Did you try asking a hobby shop what will work to stop it from fraying? Like Michaels maybe? Or google around the internet? There must be something that will work that won't stain. I'm not a DIYer in any way shape or form so I wish I could be more help than that.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
