Now Larimar - 2015

Yeah, if you are having a longer wedding that makes sense, our ceremony is only going to be 15-20 minutes, then Depending on whether they start the cocktail hour immediately or if they delay it till six, I will probably take pictures in the free time and during part of the cocktail hour. I would get married earlier, but I do not want our guests to have to come to the wedding, and then entertain themselves for a few hours before the cocktail hour/dinner.

That was my dilemma too but after thinking it over agree with you...don't want people waiting around plus if it is a 5 o'clock wedding with cocktails right after there should be some awesome sunset pics during that time. Will probably get some first look pics beforehand.

That's what I'm thinking as well, and we are also going to do a first look to get some pictures in then! If I'm timing it out correctly, I should be able to take pics for about an hour, and still attend part of the cocktail hour. Although taking pics for an entire hour will possibly be you long for my FH, especially after the first look!

I can definitely understand that as well. I may have some kids at the wedding that are younger too.  i figured the parents would want to have a break, give them a nap etc. Ive been to a destination wedding before with a brreak between the ceremony and reception and it was good to grab a few drinks before. But again, personal preference! Both me and my FI hate being rushed so it works for us.

In the end its so hard to make these choices! A wedding at 4 would have been perfect for me but it wasnt an option :(

Yes with kids they would definitely want a break. Pic on tripadvisor of the plain set up of the beach ceremony. Really pretty! I'm hoping to get the secrets beach gazebo as we have no kids going but after seeing that pic would be ok with that too. With the divine package I picked the saxaphonist....hope we get some song suggestions as I can't seem to find any songs that I know he can play...

Hi Sandy - I don't know if you know but a sound system is included in the ceremony.  So if you aren't 100% sold on the saxophonist, you can just tell them no thank you and bring your ipod down if there is something else you had in mind :)

@@alwalters625  I have her.  I got the spreadsheet pretty quick after booking.  But she takes 2-3 days to answer my emails. If you have the same package as me I could send it to you.

I have the divine package? If that is what you have I would love to see it! Let me know and I will message you my email!

I can definitely email it.  I have Divine as well (it just makes it easier to read for you because it outlines what is included).

I believe you fill it out and it actually generates the cost for you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
