I have to say I think the 1st one is a lot nicer. The 2nd would work though, but I really hate when people use mirror under candles. I think it looks tacky, so I would say lose that!

I'm not doing flowers either. I love the first pic with the starfish. I'm going to tag the picture into my favorites.

I like the first one also, but if you do decide to go with the 2nd one I agree with the other girls, lose the mirror.

I like the starfish and sand one better! But the second one is nice, if you get rid of the mirror.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I too like the sand and starfish one but I needed validation and I think I got it! :)

The only other problem is I am not hauling those vases to mexico and the vases Maye has are 4x4x9 clear...so I guess the height isn't bad but it's so narrow and it doesn't flare like the vase in the picture?? I might end up with a round vase instead because it has a bigger base...I don't know..I suck at anything design related. I guess that is what my sister is for though (interior designer). :)

I like both, but I can't tell if the votives holding the flowers are empty. Maybe combine the two ideas and place a starfish and some sand in the votives that don't hold candles?

I really like the first one!
The second is a little busy for my taste, um... maybe it the glass with the scaloped edges combined with the mirror. Yes, lose the mirror.

I also like the starfish sand one better. How about adding a sigle daisy to the starfish center? Or using daisy shaped candles?
You could also try adding faux petals to smaller tea light holders to make them look like daisies and alternate some with candles and some with sand and mini starfish. No mirror needed.
