I am looking at May 2015 and right now the now jade has kids free but only for 2014...around what time will specials applicable to May 2015 come out? And if I book now and there's a deal is there any way to get the cheaper price? I can't decide when to book and it's driving me nuts lol

I know Sunwing offers ''Price Drop Guarantee'' insurance for $50/person. If the price drops after you book, Sunwing will refund the difference. I bet other carriers offer something similar.

In most contracts that you sign your TA will insure you have a "one time price drop protection" so that if the price drops from the day you sign your contract and the day the final payments are due, they will adjust all guests signed under the contract's pricing! It saves you from having to worry about a price drop while securing your space at a popular hotel.

This isn't an add on that you have to pay for.,, this is something your TA can easily negotiate as part of your agreement,

Hi ladies. The catch to that though is that Sunwing is canadian. Things work a little differently in the US.

@Nybride525  I think your travel agent, or someone on this site from Wright Travel would be the best person to help you with that since you're in the US. The other thing is that they have access to deals through the resorts that they can help you with. They're specialists in destination wedding travel and have won awards as top performers with some of the resort chains. If you can, I'd check with them.

Good luck!

I am also with Sunwing, getting married may, 2015 and we have booked at the end of April. Sunwing offers the one time price drop (free of charge) to anyone that has put their deposit down until 45 days before the trip. But yes its a Canadian Operator. But if you wondering the best time to book i would say as soon as you can find a date and a place that you like and a resonable price for your guest I would book just because the dates get booked up soo fast and you may not get the dates that you want..good luck!!!

Me too! May 2015 bride and booked at the beginning of April. Also with Sunwing so we have the one time price drop guarantee. I would get on booking as soon as you can! I've seen tons of May brides already, and if each hotel can only put on 3-4 weddings a day, you may miss the date or resort you want! (Especially Now Jade, since it's so popular!!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
