Our colours....or rather scheme is going to be ivory, lace, burlap and light pinks with a hint of navy blue. My groom will be wearing a navy blue tie and the ring bearers have navy suspenders and bow ties.

This is my inspiration pallet: attachicon.gifImageUploadedByTapatalk1401649807.313527.jpg attachicon.gifImageUploadedByTapatalk1401649820.346516.jpg

Mostly bright pinks, corals and blood orange with a touch of gold... And light blue/grey on the men.

Gorgeous!

We're doing an 'orchid' inspired theme, so blue/teal/sangria.  This was the inspiration - doing sangria instead of the purple because it "pops"  more:  http://achurlik91.wordpress.com/

So I showed my fiancé our color palette that I posted in the 1st post on this thread and he was not really into it. He was like: oh babe it's ok... But I really like red.

RED??? On the beach??! Nowhere near the calming soft pastel yellow I have picked!

I'm not going to add red to any part of my wedding scheme!

I was hoping he wouldn't want to be involved in the color selection :(

@MrsRoy that sucks. Maybe you should show him red and he will see how much nicer your yellows are? or meet in between somewhere.... Or just say um no , no red , yellow lol
A friend of mine had grey and yellow in her summer wedding and it looked awesome

    @MrsRoy

Oh no!  I love the yellow & gray you had picked out.  And I agree, I'm not really into red either.  Maybe you can compromise and do a sunset palette, like softer reds/oranges/yellows?

I'm so sad ladies. I feel like these decisions should be made by me lol, I'm a little selfish I suppose but I just know my way will be perfect.
Omg I've turned into a bridezilla!

My fiancé has now said he also likes aqua...
Meh I guess I can try to do a yellow/aqua combo but I feel that they are such "Easter" colors when combined ...
Also I feel too much aqua with the ocean backdrop is too much.
      Ugh
I really need to work on my future hubby lol!

I love the yellow and grey, you could have little hints of aqua ( as a compromise ?). We're having white and deep purple, with hints of lime green.

You are not bridezilla! This is a big decision!
the yellow, grey and hint of Aqua is a good idea I think it would look good, if the aqua is nice and bright won't look like Easter at all.
