How Many Bridesmaids Do You Have?

Recommended Posts

I just found out 2 of my best friends I assumed wouldn't go may actually be going so this would make us equal or at lest 5 girls 6 guys which to me is amazing lol...1 girl has to talk with her husband about it so I am leaving that as a maybe. I'm just happy that my friends are making the effort bc although I consider them close we have grown apart over the years due to locations and the fact I'm the only one with kids lol

@@CierraG I don't think it's a big deal at all if your sides are uneven! Our sides likely will be as well - two for me and one for my FI

I also will be uneven

3 bridesmaids and 4 groomsman

One of the groomsman is actually my best friend/man of honor but my FI asked him to stand with the groomsman

Ours worked out perfectly, 7 on each side! My sister will be my MOH and my fiance has two best men. We are having a larger wedding (for a destination wedding), I'm estimating 120 guests. I just called them and asked them!

I don't know yet... waiting to see who is going to rsvp as I don't want to pressure people to go if they don't have the money. is this a bad idea?

I think if they know the price of the trip then you can ask them then they can decide based on how much they have to pay. You could say you completely understand if they can't not pressure because you asked them to be in your wedding party.

But asking them might make them excited and more wanting to go.

We have had a couple people in our party that said they couldn't commit cause do school, work, babies ect so we are just waiting to see what our final numbers are.

I had to turn down being a bridesmaid last year cause it was too close to my due date and she understood.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
