I wanted to do my hair down, but every picture I am seeing its super windy! So I was thinking either swept to the side or half up and half down to keep it still for a while. Try your hairstyles out to see what you love and go from there =0)

I think whether people like it up or down or to the side best on you, you need to figure out how best it will hold in the humidity and thru the entire day. This has been a large stress for me as I have wavy hair I flat iron daily. I realize I will probably have to tack my bangs back or to the side somehow as they are the worst culprit but trying to grow them some (even though I keep pushing back lol) because I know it's for the best. Don't want to regret my poofy frizzy hair in wedding pics when I knew better lol. I've been considering extensions to help. I have a shorter bob. I have an idea for my hair and plan to see what my hair dresser thinks Wednesday. Also inquire into products that will help with humidity.

I totally wanted half up half down but just the hair all day on my neck would drive me nuts with the humidity and heat so I'll wear it up. That's always an option if you want to show the back of your dress. I think you should wear something that's comfortable. August is one of the hottest months and I know that I'll want to put it up in a ponytail so as much as I'll love my hair half up it will be uncomfortable and it will look awful when I put it up half way through the wedding haha.

I was thinking about a loose side bun that is low with a waterfall braid or something similar. But I always wear my hair down and FI asked me if I would consider wearing it down for our wedding. So I kinda want to wear it down. I've been looking at styles that include waterfall braids, but are still halfish down. Brides posts some great ideas on FB.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
