sometimes it really depends on where you are getting married, As a wedding planner in the Riviera Maya we have seen some fun and inexpensive favors.

 

Maracas are super fun , you can put a little tag with "shake for a kiss" 

mini tequila bottles with a thank you note

tequila shot glass to take shots the entire night

 

and the lists goes on.

I think it depends where you are getting married. I am getting married in Nicaragua and I had these maracas made for guest favors, but also to use as escort cards.

I'm ordering rain stick shakers for my guests-

 

I was originally going to add them to the welcome bag and have it put in the rooms for them before they arrive.. However, I don't think it would be a great idea to give my guests a tool to summons rain right before my wedding...

The little gifts are a great idea and the guests LOVE them!

 

We have seen personalized sandals, maracas, little tequilas, and even little bags of homemade candy, even the BAG was homemade!!

 

I think with destination weddings and guests traveling it is always a nice gesture and just one of the small details that go along with a wedding of this style.

We got mood color changing stadium cups personalized to our names & in our wedding colors.  It'll be handy for guests on the resort, since we're going to an AI, which tend to have small drink glasses!

 

I found them on Etsy and Ebay (same seller, same price lol).  I ordered via Etsy because I could convo them that way, versus email
