Any other Edmonton Brides?  Looking for a Travel Agent that specializes in Destination Weddings and willing to negotiate best rate to  "Make it Happen"!

I'm not Edmonton- but Calgary and I can't say enough great things about my TA who has some amazing relationships and has been able to pull some crazy bonus deals out of her hat for me! Her name is laurielee (laurielee.ca)... Send her an email!

If Lorraine at Mayfield travel is around still (she was off on personal time due to a family illness) she is AMAZING. Seriously. hands down wonderful lady. She might be back, she just wasn't when we tried to book a few months back. if not check out the ladies at Bridges travel in Camrose, they are really wonderful and give you the attention you need & deserve!

I did contact Laurie Lee and she was incredibly prompt in responding even though she is in Vegas. Having said that I also contacted a WOW Specialist with Hard Rock Hotels that lives in Wetaskwin, AB -  Kelsie Abrahamson at Travel Only and she has been nothing shy of amazing! I emailed her at 10 am yesterday and she had quotes and options to me by 3pm!!  I will most likely be securing a Venue tonight.

 

Not only was Kelsie super prompt, she has unbelievable knowledge on Hard Rock, Karisma, and AM Resort Weddings. She also found me "added perks" and "credits" that no other Resort or airline was offering.

 

I am not feeling as overwhelmed now....

Awesome! Yeah, Karisma does pretty much the same as Hard Rock for the free visit. The way the Karisma group does it is you pay $400 for the site visit holiday, but you get a $500 credit.. So same as a free trip in essence. Glad you found someone so close who is great!!

I had a heck of a time.   Noone would ever call us back from anywhere, even when they said they would!  Flight Center was the worst. So I ended up using a travel agent in BC when I am in Calgary!!!  She's been great, but was annoying.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
