New Bride To Be - Playa Del Carmen

Sensatori is definitely family friendly- one of the best in fact! They DO have a section of adult only rooms in one building but 90% of the resort is catering to families with children and teens. This was the main reason we chose it as out location... That and the fact we are foodies and the food here is supposedly fabulous!

What she said haha! This was also a selling feature for us. They even have "Fischer Price" rooms with kids toys and apparently you can get baby food at the restaurants. Plus you can get strollers, bottle warmers, cribs, the works!

Psst @@kmk2016 we are both getting married the same month (although different year) and are both from Alberta! So cool! :) Let me know if you have any questions about our wedding next year!

Awesome! I am heading down next month for the Brides Dress Rehearsal to see all the actual sites in person and to taste the food/cake/drinks... Looking forward to seeing it all in person! I look forward to seeing your plans come together! What time are you thinking for your ceremony?

@@kmk2016 So cool! I wish we could go down for the Brides Dress Rehersal. I'd love to know how everything goes! :) Are you going down with your fiance?

We booked our ceremony for 4:00pm. According to timeanddate.com the sun sets at 5:39pm so we don't have a lot of time for pictures but we want a bunch of sunset pictures and night time sparkler pictures. Plus we'll be doing a lot of group shots with the bridal party before hand. So hopefully that time will work out nicely!

Happy Planning!!

We are thinking 4pm too- I'll get feedback from you afterward to see if the timing worked! Nope my FI will be working and can't away, so I'm going with my MoH... She's pumped haha! I will take a ton of pics and share all the deets... If there is anything specific you want to know, just let me know!

Deal, I'll make sure to keep track of the timing!

Awe too bad he can't go, but that would be such a fun girls trip!! Ohh yes, pictures please. :) I think the only specific thing I'd be curious about would be the beach. Our ceremony is near the peir and I've heard that it gets quite seaweady. So I'd love to know how clean it is. Thank you so much! Have fun on your trip! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
