@@nattiegams325 Your wedding was BEAUTIFUL!  My colors are similar and just LOVE your flowers!

My ceremony is set for 4pm beach, 5pm cocktail beach and 6-9 reception.

After finding out the time change, I emailed my coordinator Claudia and wanted to change it to 5pm ceremony but that has already been taken:((

She suggested moving ceremony to 6pm and said the sun sets at 7:45 in June.  Any suggestions on time?

Are yall just handing your coordinator your debit/credit card to pay? Or paying in some other form? I don't know what's the best way with fees and everything...

Also, do you know if the aisle runner is included? I don't see it on the budget spreadsheet.

I think I remember my WC telling me that an aisle runner is included for beach and gazebo ceremonies.

As far as payment, I think one of our card's company doesn't charge international fees. This may be a stupid suggestion, but what about traveler's checks? (Obviously, I don't really know much about them and how they work)

I opened up a Capital One 360 Checking Account due to Capital One doesn't charge Foreign Transaction Fees on their Debit /Credit Cards. If you have a regular Capital One Credit Card they also don't charge foreign transaction fees.

I also read in the confirmation package on page 10 under decoration and other service that a carpeted walkway is included in both the gazebo and beach setup. That's there way of saying aisle runner from what I was told. But verify if you can.

I wanted to share all the goodies that were delivered yesterday!! Advil, sunscreen, hand sanitizer for my welcome bags, mirrors to go under the candle centerpieces, votive candle holders, silver chargers and organza for my chairs!! Making progress slowly but surely. I wish I didn't have to take so much but the prices DRC charges definitely make it worth it !

What did you decide on the OOT bag?

April 2014 I went to a friends wedding in Jamaica and all of the ladies carried around the OOT bag the entire weekend.... even though when I got home I never used it again. I worry about that with my guest and think maybe I shouldn't spend to much on the actual bag.

@@Dec2015 I know my guests, and those fancy OOT bags would never be used again after our wedding weekend lol. and not used at all by the men. So I don't wanna spend money on the actual bag. I just got pretty little paper bags and gonna put tulle in it with a cute label that I DIY!

Are your paper bags about this size? Did you get different color paper bags or stick to your wedding colors?

I was thinking about these bags from the dollar with labels on the handles. I hate I can't pick the color but I figure since Mexico was a festival colorful place I jus go with it. I still have time to look for other ideas.

Also can you give me the information on the Maracas. Where to order and how to get them to Dreams. Thanks

Here's the pic of the bag...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
