@@nattiegams325 Ahhhh 20 days! You must be so excited!!! Did you have to give your guests meal choice when you gave your head count? Trying to figure out if I need to add that to my reply card for my invitations.

@@smileitseb Love this idea!! How much do they charge you for the maracas? Are they shipping them to the resort for you!

@@landryfrost Yes we are for the reception. We are having the guitarist for the ceremony.

LEAVING IN 20 DAYS!!!! OMG :D

How exciting! I remember when I read your first post. Please let me know if they are on Chicago time and what time it started to get dark. Also if you don't mind me asking... how much did you budget for a photographer since you are using someone outside of the package. Do you still have to pay outside censor fee?

Where are people staying for their honeymoon. I orginally planned to stay at Dreams thinking they may upgrade us or give us additional comps since we are staying a total of 9 days but... other resort seem to also give honeymoon comps so now I'm not sure if it'll be worth the effort to pack and stay elsewhere for 3 days. Change of scenery would be nice but I'm all about the beach, unlimited food and drinks right now.

I got maracas from the same place! Highly recommended so far-great at emails and fair price. For 45 original design personalized maracas including delivery to resort was $219.50.

Because we upgraded to the platinum menu we are doing lobster tail and filet. We didn't give people an option (we didn't even ask because who doesn't like lobster and filet?!) hehe. You're doing a plated dinner too?

@@Dec2015 :-) I know I can't believe its almost here! It will be eastern time when we go. So the sun will set an hour later than before, I'll be sure to let you know about the sunset! We are going with Dreams photog (adventure photo) because I actually love their work and they know the resort better than anyone (my absolute fave though is elizabeth medina but she was ridic expensive). We upgraded our package I think to...sapphire? It's like 3000 but ill check. The 30 min TTD session that's included we are swapping for a 30 min photog of our welcome dinner the night before on the beach. My videog (Indigo videography) is I think 1900? Great price and way better quality than Dreams in house videographer. With external vendor fee ($300) indigo is only $150 more than Dreams would have been, and I am going to receive a much much better product.

We are not doing a honeymoon right away because we'll be in Mex for like 9 days. We are doing Europe in the fall.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
