Hello Everyone,

I'm just recently engaged and looking to kick off my wedding planning for Spring 2015 somewhere warm and sunny. I've decided that i need some help from an experienced Travel Agent that can help me choose a resort, negotiate group rates and work directly with my wedding guests to make sure their booking experience is a good one.

Hoping that you guys can help point me in the right direction. I've met with a few destination travel agencies, but looking for more reco's before we make a decision.

If you know a travel agent extraordinaire that specializes in destination weddings in the GTA please let me know!

Thanks :)

Kelly Neonakis-Morash. She is based in Halifax, NS but she has worked with brides all over Canada and she is amazing!! I cannot recommend her enough! I am using her for my own wedding and she has been nothing short of amazing!

GTA is the Greater Toronto Area

I've heard a lot about Apple Vacations, some good and some bad, but they don't operate in Canada that I'm aware of. If anyone has heard of them working for groups in Canada I would love to hear.

I've used two for different things. For our wedding we used Marlin Travel downtown Bay St location - Allison. She was great!

For our vow renewal I just happened to get hooked up with Jessie at tripcentral.ca  I have contact details if interested.

Try the Wright Agency:) They have rave reviews on this site. And I can tell you from my conversation with them, they want to make the travel arrangements a stress free experience for you. Hope that helps!

I agree, Patty Jordan from Wright Travel is ahhhmazing! I emailed multiple agents and she is the one that I felt the  most comfortable with immediately. She responded quickly and was so sweet, I couldn't be happier with her. She specializes in the DR but I'm sure can do other places.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
