Need A Steel Pan Band Asap

Does anyone have any recommendations for a steel pan band in the Cancun Riviera Maya area for my June 7th welcome dinner  We dragged our feet making this decision and now the house band is booked the night of our welcome dinner.  Our hotel wedding coordinator recommended  another vendor but they are $2500 for 90 minutes.

I'm using Party Planet Productions for my mariachi--perhaps they also provide steel drums? I know some of the wedding planners on here would know for sure.

Don't feel bad the steel pan band that I booked months ago CANCELED due to "personal reasons" for my welcome reception on June 6th so now we are just using a regular band. Such a bummer I was so upset and juan the wedding coordinate was searching high and low for me to find one and had no luck for june 6th :(

 

I don't know any others as I reached out to 3-4 on my own and never heard back from anyone! Good luck.

Anel informed me that the other steel pan band they could book for me is going to be about $3,000 for 2 hours.  I am not comfortable spending that much money for the welcome dinner.  I thought about downloading the steel pan music instead.  I normally wouldn't care but my fiancee just told me we are buying a freaking boat on Saturday for our lake house!!!  I'm like umm okay…… I guess we have a secret money tree!!

I'm using Party Planet Productions for my mariachi--perhaps they also provide steel drums? I know some of the wedding planners on here would know for sure.

I am going to check this out.  Thank you for the suggestion.

What has your experience been with party planet productions? I want to use them for a few things but my ex wedding coordinator had bad things to say about them. I wonder now considering she is my ex planner for a reason, if she was telling the truth, Would like to know your thoughts!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
